The stunning Ava gown by Karen Willis Holmes with Diamond train. Size 8, but altered to fit a size 8-10.

The Ava gown is a slim line gown with beautiful embroidered and beaded lace embellishment with a scallop design on the bodice and skirt. The detailed design is made to such a high standard, as all Karen Willis Holmes gowns are. The bodice has a sweet-heart neck line and spaghetti straps which were added as an alteration, but these can be removed. The dress also features a beaded and embroidered belt. The back of the dress has covered buttons.

The Diamond train takes the dress to another level. The train can be removed easily throughout your wedding day.

Worn only once in November 2017 and professionally dry cleaned to return it to perfect condition.

STORY

I saw the dress from across the room at the Karen Willis Holmes store in Paddington, Queensland. It instantly struck me and when I tried it on I knew it was the one that I was meant to wear. On the day it was amazing. It felt so comfortable even with its intricate detail. It is the dress you will never forget and wish you could wear over and over again.

The dress was a Size 8, altered to suit a size 8-10. Spaghetti straps were also added, although they can be removed.

The dress was worn once. There are no holes in the gown or the removable Diamond train. Some minor wear in the beading, but not visible without close inspection. The inner lining has some wear marks on the inside where the skirt touches the floor, but these are on the inside of the dress and are not visible when the dress is being worn.
