The Briar gown, cut in our lustrous silk 4 ply crepe is a modern statement gown dripping with old Hollywood glamour. The softly draped empire bodice flatters your décolletage, and highlights your shoulders. Long slim sleeves drape effortlessly off of your shoulders to give a feeling of undone elegance. Princess seams sculpt an elongating fit and flare silhouette, and buttons to the hem of the cathedral length train add a classic bridal element for a timeless look.
Alterations
I had this altered down to fit closer to a street size 6 in the bust and waist. Hips were left alone. Additionally, the dress was hemmed for me (5 ft 5 in) to wear 2.5 inch heels. Ballroom bustle was added making the bustle invisible and the dress one length from the back when bustled.
