The Dress

A STUNNING dress that was light, comfortable and photographed beautifully! I felt a million dollars on our wedding day and everyone just told me it was the perfect mix of traditional, but a modern dress they hadn't seen before. This dress would be the perfect fit for any style of wedding and bride looking for a modern, but classic fit, and you will not be disappointed when you put on a Newhite gown. They are perfection!

Brand new purchased from a boutique in Sydney AUS and delivered in April 2023. I have had small alterations done, but I am a standard size 10-12 AUS with a DD bust (for reference of fit). The fabric has a smooth silk layer underneath with a light crepe fabric over the top. The bodice is boned so held up so well for the afternoon and dancing in to the evening. The one shoulder is on the right with a subtle split too in the silk on the left leg. There is a little bundle of crepe fabric on the left hip, which just equals out the dress to be honest. In the photos you will see this more clearly. The crepe fabric went over the split, so you get the sexy element while being subtle (for the Dad's and Grandparents) :) Its just honestly the perfect mix of a lot of dresses I tried on, and would fit a variety of body types and shapes. I am more curvy from my tummy, hips down and it was the most flattering fit and didn't have to worry about holding anything in on our day. I felt so comfortable and like myself even in a big white gown!

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned, in the original bag and I have proof of purchase if required. There is a very small tear on the bottom hem (from a heel), but as mentioned I am on the taller side, so even getting the dress hemmed, would get rid of the tear. There are small grass/dirt stains on the very bottom of the dress. Again getting this hemmed 1cm, would eliminate these. The outside layer of crepe, around the arms and all of the dress is in perfect condition.

I would love to see this beautiful dress be re worn by the next bride. It's just too stunning, and am open to reasonable offers.

Alterations

The dress has been taken in around the bust and a small amount off the bottom. I am quite tall (168cm) and the dress was long with heels on.
