The Dress

Stunning new season Lihi Hod wedding dress – I was the first person to wear the ‘Nadia’ dress in Australia for my wedding a month ago. It’s a beautifully-made, gorgeous classic, timeless dress with optional sexy modern twists with the add-on sleeves (I wore the sleeves for some photos and took off for others). There is also a hidden slit which looks super cute for photos and a dip kiss but looks very demure and conservative when walking down the aisle etc. It’s also very comfortable and easy to dance in (I didn’t even change into a second dress and wore this all night). In short: it was the perfect dress and my absolute dream dress that made me feel like a princess!

Taking the dress in or out to suit your body shape is easy with a seamstress to make sure it fits perfectly (I didn’t realise this until I started my dress-finding journey).

I am also happy to sell my beautiful pearl veil (with or without the dress) for $200 - happy to send more photos of that too.

Here is how the designer Lihi Hod describes the dress: “A slim cut silk Mikado gown featuring a draped corset top with strapless straight neckline, draped skirt with sultry slit and train, covered buttons, and long detachable sleeves.⁠”

More details:
Fabric: Mikado silk
Sleeves: very on-trend puff sleeves that can easily be put on and taken off all night (which is what i did!). Or not worn at all if you like!
Dry cleaned: professional dry cleaned at Melbourne's best wedding drycleaner Syndals. It is 100% clean, steamed and ready to wear right now.
Size 8-10 AUS but as mentioned can be adjusted to be a size bigger or smaller, shorter etc
Bustle/train: I wore the short train at full length through ceremony then did the bustle as seen in the photo from back for reception. So cute!
