I wore this dress to my registry office wedding. I loved that it was traditional and romantic but still a little sexy. The full description of the dress on the BHLDN website is as follows:

Fitted through the bodice and hips, this gown exudes femininity. Illusion lace at the décolletage frames the face, leading to a beautiful open back. Scalloped bands of vintage-inspired lace create a motif we find most alluring.

Due to the very fine lace of the dress and in the spirit of transparency/honesty when I know this is such an important purchase for you, I wanted to flag two very minor gaps in the lace on the front of the dress. They are shown (to the best of my ability to photograph them when they are hard to spot) in the two photos where I am pointing a tiny stick to try to help you see them. The first one is located in the first section of "plain" lace under the waistband on the right hand side and the second is further down the skirt in the second section of "plain" lace. I don't think that these would be noticeable when the dress is on (I didn't notice them on the day) and I only noticed them after inspecting it, following dry cleaning, to write this listing. Do not hesitate to ask me any questions on this.

Alterations

The only alteration made to the dress was to the length. The dress had to be shortened to my height (plus heeled shoes). To maintain the handkerchief edge to the bottom of the skirt, the dress was shortened by taking the excess material from the top of the skirt that attaches to the waistband.
