The Dress

Delicate, romantic, vintage silk gown by Jane Yeh. The Anabelle dress has a soft satin lining with delicate beaded silk lace overlay.

Jane Yeh, based in Ponsonby, is highly reputable and well known for her beautifully designed exquisite gowns. I loved wearing this dress! It was the perfect combination of romance, delicacy and comfort on the day.

It has a feminine, fitted silhouette with delicate beaded straps, a fitted bodice and a low back. I was around a size 8 to 10 on my wedding day, but the satin fitted underlay has some stretch to it, which fits beautifully on most body shapes. The dress is cut on the bias, so allows for a wider size range.

The fabric drapes beautifully from the waist down as seen in the photos. I'm 170cm and had a medium heel on the day. The train of the dress is medium length, with a bustle that allows the train to be looped up and secured for dancing.

The cost of the dress was $4950. I had an April 2017 wedding, the dress was professionally cleaned immediately after, so it's still in great condition. If you would like some photos of the condition of the dress now, please let me know.
