The Dress

This dress is so beautiful and I absolutely loved wearing it on my wedding day. It's the perfect mix of elegant, comfortable and classic and I've received so many amazing comments about the dress and how flattering it is.

Dress details:
The style is called 'Mallow' and it has a fully corseted bodice, lace cap sleeves and an open back, this gown is flattering and wearable. The full, flowing skirt is made from layers of beautiful rayon Georgette crepe, lined with light L’amore satin, for the perfect sweep down the aisle. The bodice is made from delicate French Guipere lace. Because the bodice is fully corseted, with lace cap sleeves, there’s no need to wear a bra. You can also wear it with closed or open toe Stilettos.

I had $330 worth of alterations made to it, including getting it hemmed to suit my 164cm height (I wore it with 10cm heels), and I had the pearls removed from the waist band and instead had customised ruched Georgette detailing added.

After the wedding I took the dress back to Katie at Daisy Brides for it to be cleaned as she has a preferred dry cleaner. From the wedding day the bottom was a bit dirty but they did an amazing job at cleaning it and I think it looks as good as new.

I adore this dress, however, as I don't need it any longer my hope is that it will be enjoyed by someone else on their very special day.
