The Dress

I am selling both my beautiful Sophia gown made by the wonderful people at Rue de Seine, along with the matching Sophia blouse. Absolutely LOVED the combination of the two and had lots of lovely compliments both on the day and afterwards when we shared some photos.

Was made for me this year, our wedding was in April 2017 and was picked up in March. Purchased from the Rue de Seine boutique in Newmarket.

Classic style of dress with a touch of modern. It also has pockets in it!

Was also extremely comfortable to wear on the day, no worries with having to stick or strap anything down either.

Am sad to be selling it on as it really is lovely, but I'm hoping that it'll go to another home to be enjoyed again on someone else's special day.

Dress details:

This classic chic silhouette has a fitted bodice with triangle cups, roule straps, and fitted waist yoke. Blouse details:

Cropped french lace blouse with open back and single button closure. 3/4 sleeve length and scallop lace detail on bodice and sleeve. 100% French lace.

I had $700 of alterations made to the dress, including getting it hemmed and getting soft bra cups put in. The cups were also made slightly smaller on each side. I had these alterations done at Megs Tailoring in Newmarket (http://www.megstailoring.co.nz/) which was the tailor of choice recommended to me by Rue de Seine (and extremely lovely people).

I have had the dress and blouse professionally dry-cleaned by Regal Drycleaners in Newmarket (https://www.regaldrycleaners.co.nz/) who were recommended to me by Megs Tailoring. At the end of our wedding the dress was slightly dirty on the bottom, but this has come out completely from what I can tell & looks great again!
