The Dress

I am selling my very much adored 'Frankie' Gown designed by Made with Love Bridal, which I wore for my wedding in January this year.

I was obsessed with this dress the first time I saw it online and made the trip up to Christchurch midway through last year to try the dress on at Mille Feuille Bridal (the only NZ stockists). Before I tried the dress on I was nervous about how my boobs (C cup) would feel in this dress. I had no reason to worry! The way the dress works holds you in SO well and I felt incredibly comfortable on the day with no built in cups (I just wore nipple covers). I had soo many compliments on my dress - the dramatic lace train is so gorgeous, yet because it is so light (without layers of added material) the dress is so comfortable to wear all day and I often just tuckered my train up over my arm. The dress does have an arm hook and I also got 2 small fingers hooks added incase I wanted to use this feature :)

I decided to add buttons to the back of my dress, just as something different, and I think they gave the dress a more elegant touch. These buttons are just for 'look' only and sit just above/side of the zip (faux buttons). As such, these can be easily unpicked and removed. I opted to go for NO rouching but yes to pockets (two features Made with Love offers). The pockets were really fun but equally not hugely noticeable - I pointed it out to a couple of people for a laugh.

I am 157cm tall and wore quite a decent sized heel. The dress would be easily able to be taken up. I am usually a typical size 8.

The dress is very well cared for and was hand washed by my Mum (who I would trust washing absolutely anything) and has come out looking pristine. I did not use any sort of fake tan and our home is clean and smoke free :)

I am located in Dunedin but travel throughout Otago for work if you wanted to see/try the dress.

- The dress was made to fit me. When I received the dress it was slightly too big. The dress was taken in and another button was added to the top of the V at the back to bring it in a little more so it fitted snug. I have now taken this button off. Most likely the new owner would need this dress fitted to them (easily achieved with the back seams) and as such, the top of the V at the back would need corrected to fit.
