The Dress

The moment i first seen this dress on the GLL website i fell in love, i never thought it would suit my curvy figure and i tried many flowing dresses that covered my curves before i gave in, Alexandra was the 5th dress i was lucky enough to try at the local Gold Coast Grace Loves Lace showroom and soon as i had it on i instantly knew it was the one, not only because of how stunning this dress looks on but how comfortable it is to wear and how beautiful it made me feel, hugging in all the right places.
I actually explored lots of options prior to ordering this dress, even purchasing an imitation but nothing compared to how i felt in this dress & i can tell you now its worth every cent, the stretch lace is so comfortable.

The dress was made early this year to my measurements which are:
B: 88cm UB: 76cm W:68cm Hip:97cm S2F:139cm,
Because of the give in the stretch lace it would fit measurements close to these i normally wear a size 10-12

i had the dress made to be worn with bare feet as i was getting married on the beach but i wore a variety of different shoes - including heals at the reception & i had no troubles at all with the length, this dress has a 80cm train (custom size & was perfect length without being annoying) i found it to be a the perfect length - it has two finger loops (one in the middle back of train and one to the side).
The Alexandra gown allowed me to move freely on the day and was so comfortable.

There are no stains or tears on the dress and it was cleaned the day after my wedding following the GLL instructions and came up beautifully (GLL do not recommended dry cleaning)

It comes in the original packaging as new with hanger.

We love the dramatic fishtail skirt, which has a centre front opening and large back godet, with a stunning 40cm, 80cm or 120cm train. A concealed finger loop is featured on the 80cm and 120cm train. The 120cm train length also provides a bustle to keep you moving and dancing all night.

The Alexandra stretches over the head and down the body without any boning or structure. There is a single satin button fastening at the back of the neck to secure the gown. The all-over stretch French lace is fully lined with a light, breathable polyester. The bust features built in cups and a deep V lining. The Alexandra flows effortlessly into a fishtail skirt with a knee-length centre front opening and a large lace godet, which is finished with a 120cm train (which can be altered to 40cm or 80cm). The 80cm and 120cm trains feature a concealed finger loop and the 120cm train also features a bustle so that you can easily dance all night.
