The Dress

Ian Stuart Montrose Dress with bespoke headpiece (by Amanda Sutherland). Brand new, not worn, with tags, original storage bag, taffeta, shark and lace in ivory. I bought it for £2,349

This romantic gown features a draped cross-over bodice with beaded lace sweetheart neckline. The draping continues into an A-line shaped cross-over skirt which falls open to reveal a beautiful lace skirt and train. lovely covered button back, gorgeous corset/bodice fit.

Includes lace wrap. The dress is marked as size 12, but I am usually a size 8-10 and it fits me. There is a 1" allowance in the seams for alterations. Ian Stuart dresses typically have enough seam allowance to let out one dress size or can be taken in up to two dress sizes before effecting the design of the gown. Size 12 guide: chest 36", waist 28" hips 40", standard length from hollow of neck front to hem 61". Lace can be removed to alter length and replaced.

To go with the dress I also had made a fascinator - unique, and designed by Amanda Sutherland. New it cost £240 because it is bespoke and one only. It is silk (flower petals) with metal and glass stems. It is all formed on wire and there is room for adjustment of the flower petals and the stems. It comes mounted on a strong comb and is worn on the left hand side of the head. It comes in the box it was supplied in. It's beautiful!

There are two matching bridesmaid hair flower pieces in lace with glass beads on flexible wire grip.

There is also a separate veil if required, also on a comb ie. use for the service, take off for the reception.
