The Dress

This amazing dress was worn at my wedding day in 2016, and it's hard to say goodbye to it! It was so comfortable and I received so many compliments on the day about how great it looked on.

The dress is a mermaid type fit, has cap sleeves (I used body tape to hold these in place for the day), and with a long cathedral train that pins up at the back as per the photos. The torso is boned and the back has sheer panels with beautiful lace detail.

It was purchased from Alma J in Mount Eden and all alterations were made there as well. At the time I measured approximately bust- 87cm, waist - 71cm and hips - 93. I am 5'8". The staff at Alma J also said that there was enough fabric in the in-seam to take it out an entire size if needed.

It was drycleaned at New Zealand Drycleaners within two weeks of the wedding and looks exactly like it did when I purchased it new.
