The Dress

Gorgeous Monique Lhuillier dress. It has never been worn or altered. It was two sizes too big and we ultimately did not have enough time to have it altered to my frame. I am still however, head over heels with this beauty. Extremely intricate work and craftsmanship. Corseted, boned bodice, crystal buttons up the back, chantilly and eyelash lace. It truly makes every single body type look absolutely gorgeous. If you are curvy, it tucks everything in. If you are straight, it gives you curves. It's truly perfection on the body. As the tailor said about ML -- that is why everyone wants to wear one of her dresses; they are built so beautifully. I am 5' 8" and I could have worn 5 inch heels. This would work for someone very tall or shorter.

The craftsmanship is beyond gorgeous. Organza/silk raw edge petals, floral applique hand sewn onto dress for feminine texture, very delicate touches of silver beadwork. It would be difficult to find this dress in New Zealand as was recently purchased overseas in America at the ML once yearly sample sale. Very current style as 3-D floral was named one of the couture 2016 Trends at NY fashion week. Small amount of dust on the edge of the underslip from showroom floor only visible to the wearer. Would not need to be cleaned, but if desired, it could be easily spot cleaned. If desired, straps can be taken off for an beautiful sweetheart/strapless look. Priced to sell. Thank you.
