The Dress

This is the beautiful Pronovias Bella dress from their 2015 collection; it is an off-white mermaid dress with a gorgeous sweetheart neckline in petit pois tulle and guipure lace appliqués.

What initially drew my attention to this dress was its beautiful guipure lace and its lace edging/trim at the hem of the dress. When I wore the dress I instantly fell in love with it and how special and beautiful it made me feel. Even looking at it now reminds me of that special feeling and that it was really 'the one'. I received many compliments on my dress during our wedding day and felt really comfortable and easy to walk about in it too!

I had some minor alteration to have the dress better fitted on me and had 1 layer of tulle netting removed (there are originally 3 layers) so it's less 'poofy' at the bottom and flows better too.

Both the gown and veil have been professionally dry cleaned. I have also included unused extra buttons that came with the gown which I didn't need.
