The Dress

This beautiful gown was purchased in 2008 from the Clarissa Grace store in Sydney, Australia. I was told this dress looked like it was straight out of a bridal magazine and it was loved by all! Originally $8000 it is a bargain and I want it to go to a new home. Will fit size 6/8 - 12. I am usually an 8 but lost a few kilos before my wedding day and so would have been fitting into size 6's around that time.

The Georgina skirt, has layers of tulle underneath tiers of french lace which are held up by velvet ribbon that run vertically up and down the skirt. I am wearing a hoop under my dress on the day, but I have seen other images of this skirt worn without a hoop and it looks just a delightful, just not as full.

The silk corset is fully boned and has fine lace lining the curved strapless neckline. Clarissa Grace provided beautiful silk and velvet ribbons to wrap around the corset and you will see the chosen ribbons I wore on the day in the pictures listed. I also have an arm band that I wore on the day, which matches the dress made by Clarissa Grace.

The Georgina skirt has three sets of eyelet hooks in the back of the skirt to do it up, and I feel that this skirt would fit from a size 6/7 through to a size 12 due to being able to adjust the size. I had no need of a dress fitting due to this, which was helpful seeing as I was from Tasmania and the dress was purchased in Sydney. The corset does up at the back with silk ribbons and therefore also is adjusted to be as tight as desired on the day.
