The Dress

This dress is a Billie dress custom made by Gwendolynne for my wedding in March 2013. From the moment I tried this dress on, I knew it was a winner. It has a kind of Grecian/ 1920s feel to it that made it fun and feminine. It has the perfect balance between glamour, elegance and simplicity and allowed me to feel both beautiful and comfortable on my wedding day. I wore a matching head piece in my hair, but the dress could be worn with either a fun head piece, veil, or just on its own.

The dress is so easy and comfortable to wear. The beaded detail and the beautiful low back allowed me to feel special, while the soft flowing fabric, which fell simply and beautifully from the beaded waist allowed me to feel relaxed and at ease. I had bra cups built in, which meant I didn't have to worry about a bra with the low back and felt completely secure and supported in these.

The dress is made with a train which is easily attached underneath the dress for the reception.

The dress was professionally dry cleaned and carefully stored since the day and is still in excellent condition. There is a very small mark on the front of the dress, which is only visible if you are up close and look closely. Am happy to provide a photo if you are interested.

I'll be so sad to part with the dress but just feel it is too beautiful a gown to sit in a cupboard and would love for someone else to be able to feel as beautiful as I did on the day in this gorgeous dress.

I am a dress size 8 and 165cm tall.
