The Dress
This is a original Morilee gown, style 1959. It has a full tulle skirt and fitted bodice with belt and beaded alencon appliques on the under layer of the material. A removable lace caplet is also included along with a beaded sash that has a large satin bow (also removable). It has been altered slightly around the bust, the length has been kept the same. Measurements below.
A talented dressmaker sewed the sating bow together so it wouldn't undo during the day, she also attached press studs to the back so it sits just right. A basque has been made under the tulle so you have the option to make the dress a little easier to dance in later on.
Measurements of me:
The Bust is 35 inches and the waist is about 30 inches. The hips are free due to the shape of the gown. There is a few centimetres in the bust and waist if it needs to be let out (to make the gown to the original German Size 38). These gown is dry-cleaned, no stains, no damage and it comes in a high quality cotton bag.
