The Dress
This is the 'Antonia' dress by Jane Yeh. I bought it in 2014 to wear for our wedding December 2014. It is a couture dress in off-white french lace and made from over 12m of crystal silk chiffon. Fitted and rouched to the lower hipline with full skirt and train that can be caught up into a bustle for dancing. It has a low back and the lace starts on the right hip and winds up the front, over the left shoulder and down the back of the dress. It can be worn with or without the single lace strap (it looks great strapless also).
This dress is a standard size 10 not made to measure. I fitted the size 10 sample dress perfectly-amazingly it fitted me like a glove so i did not need to have a dress made to measure. The only adjustment needed was to take the hem up. I was breast feeding at the time of the fitting so the we left the bust big. I am normally a size 12c/10d. It is hard to say what my bust size was at the wedding as i was still breast feeding (really don't recommend that) but probably about a c cup and I wore a stick on bra to fill the top out. There is heaps of room in the bust so i think it would fit a bigger bust D maybe an E at a push but would easily fit a smaller bust with stick on chicken fillets :).
I am 171cm and wore 10cm heels.
There is a 1.5 inch seem allowance down each side of the zip at the back so it can be let out. I have the name of the taylor that Jane Yeh recommends if any adjustments are needed.
The dress survived the wedding really well, without any major mishaps and was dry-cleaned a few days after the wedding at Regal Drycleaners in Newmarket (at a cost of $500). It is in pretty much perfect condition apart from a pull in the material near the hem at the front of the dress where someone stood on it. It would be gone if you took the hem up 1 inch but because there is so much material in the skirt you would never notice it. I am happy to email a photo of the pull. Because it is a very fine fabric there are a few very small flaws in the fabric of the skirt but only noticeable when you are going over the dress with a fine tooth comb searching for flaws.

The dress is in Newmarket, Auckland. I am happy for people to come and view the dress if they are interested.
