The Dress

Genuine Maggie Sottero Karena Royale gown in Ivory over Ivory. Size 6 US / Size 8 NZ. Worn just once on my wedding day and has been professionally dry cleaned. In excellent condition. There is a very small tear in the lace at the bottom of one side of the train - once fixed it would be barely noticable.

[From Maggie Sottero website] Strapless, slim A-line gown with corset closure. This style features compelling Alencon Lace adorned with sparkling sequins and beading. The strapless neckline is enhanced with scalloped edging, while a satin ribbon and glistening brooch accent ornaments the waist.

Modifications:
Changed to sweetheart neckline,
Slightly taken in for my smaller bust (A cup),
Hemmed for my height: 167cm plus 7cm (2.75 inch) heels,
Bustle added.

I hope you'll love this dress as much as I did! It was extremely flattering with the boning and corset closure. The corset back was especially helpful as I had stressed off a bit of weight in the days leading up to the wedding - luckily we could just pull the strings tighter and it still fit beautifully!
