The Dress
This gown really was the perfect dress for such a perfect day. With soft organza bustles laid across the asymmetrical skirt, very flattering and a beautiful ruffled train which after the ceremony can be hooked up under the dress . The dropped waist a-line bodice creates a perfect hourglass shape and to emphasize the waist, a detachable flower belt sprinkled in swarovski crystals and feathers on a black ribbon, made the perfect modern contrast to such a classic dress. This dress is a fitted A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline and finished with a corset closure and bubble hem.
I am 5ft.4 and wore a 3.5 inch high heel ( black shoes really complimented my dress)
I purchased this dress from Astra Bridal in Auckland and had all the alterations completed by them.
I spent $400 nz on dry cleaning and since being dry cleaned in May 2013 it has been hanging inside a clothes bag in a dark room.
