The Dress

Made with Love's Willow was my dream dress. The day I tried it on, I cried and felt every bit the bride. It was absolutely perfect for my wedding day and everything I dreamed my dress would feel like. It's a perfect mixture of traditional and modern with the lace bodice, revealing just the right amount of skin and the full 9 layers of tulle skirt with a subtle but sexy slit up the leg (which is only revealed purposefully). This dress is so comfortable and I didn't want to take Willow off. She is so much fun to dance in, I spent much of my night twirling in circles; much to my Auntie's delight.

I am 5' 6" (169cm) and generally a size 6-8 in street clothes. I have a small bust but am broad so the dress fits a lot of different body shapes. Lower body size is not really an issue in this dress due to the many layers of tulle.

Alterations

The length of the dress was taken up slightly and I had 7cm heels and the dress was perfect length, if not a tiny bit long. I had the straps taken up very slightly as I have a small bust and had small cups sewn in (as otherwise the lace is see through). The straps can easily be let out and the tulle can be cut if too long for you.
