A custom made Wendy Makin dress purchased from Marry Me Bridal in Mosman, Sydney. The dress is a mix of styles, a Harlow bodice with a Lilah Tulle Skirt. I had spaghetti straps added to the bodice, a bustle loop and hemming completed by Marry Me Bridal's preferred seamstress. I ordered the dress in late 2016 for a January 2017 wedding.

It might appear plain initially but could be styled a variety of ways. During the planning stages I considered lots of different possibilities: - a crystal belt and veil - a flower crown and fringed shawl/kimono - a ribbon sash to match my bridal party

I ended up keeping it simple after all.

It was a dream to wear even though it was a crazy hot day. I felt supported (no bra required) but not restrained or restricted. It has a bustle loop which made navigating the reception much easier and kept the hem of the dress from being snagged or dirtied.

The dress has been dry cleaned and stored in its protective bag, with an occasional check over and air out.
