Beautiful Berta gown. It was bought brand new made to order. The detailing on this gown is like nothing you’ve ever seen. The beading and lace is gorgeous. The style fits most body types and is super flattering. The gown has scalloped embroidery/lace with crystal and bead detailing. I only wore the dress once on my wedding day. It comes with the original Berta garment bag. They ordered the European size 42 which I believe is a size 10, but it was tailored down significantly to fit me and I am normally around a size 4 and wear size 26/27 jeans for reference. I think they ordered up so much because I am a 36C or 34D cup depending on the bra. Cups are sewn into the bra so bra needed for the dress at all(and I ALWAYS have to wear a bra normally). It fit like a glove on top! I am 5’6” and wore 4.5” heels on my wedding day so the length should fit most. The v in the front and back is so flattering and sexy but in a VERY classy way because of the sleeves. The gown has a slip underneath and a bodysuit that snap (easy for the bathroom!!) that’s almost like spanx that keeps everything in. This dress is long sleeve, but its not a heavy weight, the sleeves are lace so its GREAT for a Spring, Fall or Winter wedding! The dress is honestly SUPER comfortable even though it is heavily beaded and it honestly did not feel heavy on whatsoever. There is also a small thing on the back to bustle the train (it blends into the lace so you can't see it when the train is down).

Alterations

For length, sleeves shortened a tiny bit and the shoulders taken up to hold everything up in the chest area and taken in at the waist. Ordered larger to fit my chest and then taken in to fit me waist down as I am around a size 4 generally and wear size 26-27 denim.
