The Dress

Gorgeous Bertossi Brides, custom made/ couture wedding dress in white. Customer made and worn for my wedding in late 2014.

Has been dry cleaned by Leon's fine dry cleaning in Brisbane in Nov 2014, in a heirloom preservation wedding dress box- protected from light, dust, etc. There is a small yellow spot on the waist area. The dress also had a small grass stain on the hem as it was an outdoor ceremony, however I was advised by Leon's that this was removed and no longer visible, and the gown remains in excellent condition - I've not opened the dress box since it was dry cleaned. As I am 5 ft7 and the dress was made to fit my height exactly, the dress can also be hemmed up for a shorter person or if any concerns about the hem.

Gown details:

French Chantilly lace bodice with boat neck and V back with extended shoulder detail.
Silk satin underlay with full circle cut skirt with soft tulle and silk georgette.
Silk covered buttons and loops.
Ruched band and bow on waist.

This dress has a gorgeously soft and swishy skirt , perfect for twirling in and getting some amazing photos.

As the dress is custom made, it does not have a 'label size' however I was a size 6 upper body at the time and a size 6/8 lower body. The bodice of the dress is firm fitting but as the skirt is of a flowing style and not fitted around the legs, it allows for more space and freedom of movement. This was a really comfortable dress, was absolutely stunning on and got a lot of comments! Sad to sell it however I'm not longer married and don't want to hang onto the dress.

Happy to be slightly negotiable on the price, however if you do your research on Bertossi Brides- Ann and Gill are well sought after designers and their dresses are made to order in their workshop, excellent quality and absolute beautiful- this dress is,and was, worth every cent!
