The Dress

The Fall 2018 Carolina Herrera Glenda wedding dress is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable and light to wear. The exquisite detailing and structure of the dress provides an amazing fit. The dress style is closest to a modified A-line. The floral embellishments are gorgeous and are featured on the bodice and at the bottom of the tulle skirt, especially on the amazing train. The train bustles as ballroom style, making it look like the dress hasn't been bustled at all.

This dress is very light weight and comfortable. It is also in excellent condition!

Alterations

Slight alterations were made at Saks Fifth Avenue bridal salon: length was taken up slightly, the bodice was taken in by an inch around the waist, and boning was put into the bodice to eliminate creasing. Alteration made to bustle the train as a Ballroom Bustle style. This bustle transforms the dress silhouette from the back, essentially making the train disappear. With a ballroom bustle, it doesn't even look like the dress has been bustled at all, but rather gives the illusion that it was a floor-length gown all along. Multiple bustle points are sewn around the back of the bodice in a very discrete way, and the fabric folds into itself delicately.
