The Dress

After much searching I finally found my dream wedding dress!

Beautifully light, slim- fitting crepe with an open keyhole back in lace, lace capped sleeve and waist detail. Slightly figure- hugging at the hips and falling down to a long train. I wore this dress all day and night at my destination wedding this summer- I was comfortable throughout (and managed to dance until 4am...)
I loved every minute of how this dress made me feel and given that I only have a very small house I would really like to think of another bride loving this dress as much as I did...

I'm a fairly standard high street size 8 but the dress was taken in to fit me:
Measurements:
Bust 81cm (32 inches)
Waist 61cm (24 inches)
Hips 96cm (38 inches)
I'm roughly 5 ft 6 (168 cm) and wore 3 inch (7.5cm) heels. There are bust cups built- in.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned but there is just one area right at the very end of the train at the back where they were unable to get a stain out- this could very easily be remedied by shortening the train slightly (it is very long).

Alterations

Apart from alterations detailed above, the seamstress also placed silicone along the lace edge at the back so it fitted against my skin, and also sewed a wrist bustle for the skirt.
