The Dress

I loved this dress so much and hope that someone else will too! I loved the hand-made delicate flower appliques and subtle sparkle from the gemstone embroidery. It was so flattering and very romantic. I felt like a princess while wearing it. Our wedding day was pretty hot, and even though it has a full skirt, it was relatively light and cool. The train was nice and long for the ceremony, but I actually enjoyed it the most when it was bustled for dancing because of the extra volume and swish!

The only small imperfection is a missing button from one of the bustles of the underskirt. Easily fixed by any tailor!

Alterations

The measurements used for the dress were: Bust - 37", Waist - 28", Hips - 40", Round of Sleeve - 12", and Hollow to Hem - 61-62".
The only alterations done were the addition of bra cups (size C) and a bustle. No length was taken off the original (I am 6'1") or any other kind of alterations to the sizing. I wore flats for the wedding and the gown hit the floor nicely. Small loops & clear buttons were added to the skirt to create a bustle (pictured above).
