I bought this Greta adaption wedding dress from Jane Yeh and it has been worn once. It went into Regal Drycleaners Couture Care two days after the wedding and it is in immaculate condition – as it was when I collected it from Jane Yeh. Our wedding was on a sunny summer’s day with no rain, and the dress is in perfect condition – there aren’t any marks or anything. This is an opportunity to save a lot of money on a Jane Yeh original. Two people have tried on the dress so far and both said if it had fit they would have taken it – both said it was in much better condition than others they had tried on.
I absolutely loved wearing this dress on the day. Aside from the huge number of comments I received, it was incredibly comfortable to wear. I’m actually a little sad to be selling it, but naturally I won’t be needing it again and as it really is in ‘new dress’ condition it seems such a waste not to pass it on for someone else to enjoy.
The dress style is: Greta - http://www.jane-yeh.com/show.asp?classid=45&id=90&page=2 but with an added sash, and with the adaption of the pleats removed from the skirt. There are also hooks conveniently sown into the hem to hold up the skirt when walking and to hook onto a button for dancing.
Colour: White
Fabric: 100% soft silk, with Swarovski Crystal beading above the sash and on the bustline.
Size: I am pretty much a size 8 – I think this dress might be slightly smaller than a size 8. I am 168cms tall and wore heels on the day.
Measurements lying flat are:
Bust: 80cms / 31.5 inches
Waist: 66cms / 26 inches
Hips: 86cms / 34 inches
Length from underarm to bottom of dress at the front: 135cms / 53 inches
Jane recommended Regal Drycleaning in Newmarket and so that is where I went. I spent $350 on the drycleaning and have the receipts for this.
