The Dress

From premier New Zealand, Christchurch-based bridal designer, Lousie Anderson, this is one from her Boutique Collection. Inspired by her 'Sposa' gown, this dress was custom cut and altered to make it unique.

Made with a light cream Dupion silk, it has textured guipure lace detailing and soft silk tulle straps, wearable in either a halter neck, cap sleeve or over-the-shoulder shape.

Seed pearls and Swarovski crystals are hand-stiched into the main lace detail on the sweetheart neckline.

The silk bodice is gently ruched and features a sewn-in, lace up corset Louise is famous for doing so well.

Fishtail shape, this gown hugs your waist and hips, then yards of gathered silk are framed by guipure lace.

The hemline is gorgeously asymmetric and has a small train, which pins up into a series of small tucks and pleats. It moves beautifully for dancing.

Gown has been professionally dry cleaned and stored in a box wrapped in acid-free tissue in a dry, smoke-free, pet-free home.
